What’s for Dinner? Simple Crab Cakes

Finally, it is starting to feel like Spring!! With the approach of warmer weather, I wanted to make a simple dinner that reminds me that Spring/Summer are right around the corner! These crab cakes are an easy weeknight meal and my kids love them. Enjoy 🙂




Pure & Simple Crab Cakes

Lump crab meat (I usually use about  1 lb)

1/2 cup of panko bread crumbs

1-2 teaspoons of parsley

1-2 tablespoons of mayo (try Just Mayo, it is vegan, soy-free and non-GMO)

1 egg

2 teaspoons of Old Bay Seasoning.


In a large bowl, mix all of the ingredients together. Form into crab cakes. On a large skillet, heat about 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil, cook crab cakes about 4 minutes per side (or until cooked through).
