What’s For Dinner? Red, White & Blue Salad

Looking for a healthier alternative to bring to your holiday parties this weekend? Bring a Red, White and Blue salad, you can be as creative or simple as you want with your ingredients. I like pair my favorite lettuce with strawberries, blueberries, and almonds to keep it simple. You could add raspberries, jicima & feta cheese as well for some added flavor and color 🙂 Pair with a homemade honey lime dressing, it adds great flavor to your salad.

Prepare salad with added red, white and blue ingredients of your preference.

Honey Lime Dressing:

Makes about 1 cup

1/4 cup fresh lime juice

2 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/4 cup olive oil

1/4 cup grapeseed oil
