#MMHM: Sassy Water

Do you ever have one of those weekends where you just feel like you need a good detox on Monday morning? That is how I felt last Monday morning, after a few weekends of booze and BBQ’s, I needed something extra to add to my daily diet to help my body detox. I drank this Sassy Water, along with my normal diet and exercise routine, and it was really the boost that I was looking for! I drank it for 48 hours, making sure to have a big glass in the morning as soon as I woke up and a big glass at night right before bed. I also made sure to drink it frequently

Sassy Water Recipe

From Prevention Magazine

2 liters water (about 8½ c)
1 tsp freshly grated ginger
1 med cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced
1 med lemon, thinly sliced
12 fresh mint leaves

Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and let flavors blend overnight. Drink the entire pitcher by the end of each day.
