As moms, I think that everyone has that moment, when you feel like you are just going to lose it. Unless that is just me!!
You know when you just have those days, when you feel like your stress level is through the roof & no one around you seems to notice?? What do you do to help calm yourself? Besides drinking wine 😉
Two things that help ensure a calmer day for me are working out in the early morning before anyone else wakes up and music. Music has been my calm as long as I can remember. Now, when I have those moments of crazy and need to bring myself back down, I play some music and it always seems to readjust my mood. I love Pandora, some of my current favorite stations are Hozier, Mumford & Sons and good old Hip Hop BBQ 😉
This weekend, try to focus on finding your calm, whatever it might be! Try to make a conscious effort to do a little something for you each day, even if it is just listening to your favorite song or reading for a few minutes.
